MapPoint Tips
We update at least one of these tips every week.
A. There is a free add-on allowing you to set road speeds instead of just setting "faster than average". However, the speeds for some roads such as toll roads can't be changed - this can be a particular problem for Germany for trucks even in MapPoint 2011. It also affects some of M25 for 2010. Always look over your results to check if they make sense to you.
B. To centre the map on a particular place, just double click on it.
C. When you're copying maps from MapPoint to put into PowerPoint or Word documents, try using Paste Special and choose Bitmap if you get funny results first time!
